This week the prompt at One Single Impression is "limber up".
"Limber up," she said,
"You're only living once
So get up and make a difference
Dream ungrudgingly."
"Smile and live,"
My mother said,
"The world is full of frowns.
Don't let these keep you down."
So I got up one day
And went out into the world
Carrying my suitcase
Her words stored in my heart
And now the end is near
But I don't fear its coming
For one day I decided
To limber up and live

Thanks for the memories of the days when ones with age could have the power to limber up.
Let us contemplate on living and not the end. You are living so well! I love your poems.
Love words 'Smile and live'
That's how to live life. great words.
For women of words, like you and me, there isn't an 'end'.
