I thought my dreams had died
Sometime during the night
But when I awoke
I found them very much alive
Flying over me

I'm undecided, is that a good thing or not? I suppose it depends what you were dreaming of.

It's a good thing :). I didn't literally mean dreams you get at night, but dreams you have while growing up that you one day "wake up" to find have become a reality.

A lovely little morning cheer to awaken to. It is wonderful when we have that moment of knowing that our dreams are still attainable. Very nice!

You write beautifully. And you daydream too! That's great!

Good or bad ones?
Good I suppose, as they weren't nightmares;-) Are you going to act upon them?

Thank you for this. I can so relate. This reminds me to remember my dreams haven't died, even when I feel a little lost. Great job.

This is a lovely poem -- it feels light and airy like it could fly away. The form fits the words well.

I quite the metaphysical nature of this poem. You prompt thought. Nice!

Laura Maria,

I sometimes have very vivid dreams, which I am disappointed to find, were not for real....Others are thankfully only dreams:)
